You do not need a database subscription to find good creators in Bengaluru. You need a method, and about three hours.
The fastest source of good creators is your own customer list. Look at who has tagged your business, who is following you already, and who your customers follow. A creator who has genuinely been to your salon is worth ten cold approaches.
After that, in rough order of usefulness:
Aim to look at forty accounts and keep eight. Reject on sight if:
Do this before the first message, not after they quote:
| Check | Where | What good looks like |
|---|---|---|
| Recent reach | Ask for Insights screenshots | Reach steady or rising over 30 days |
| Audience city | Insights → Top locations | 40%+ in your city for a local campaign |
| Posting rhythm | Their profile | Consistent for 3+ months, not a burst |
| Past brand work | Search their tagged posts | Disclosed properly; content looks like theirs, not an ad |
| Comment quality | Read twenty comments | Real questions from real accounts |
Keep it short, specific, and about them. Creators ignore mass templates instantly.
Hi [name] — we run [business] in [area]. Loved your [specific recent post]. We are planning a small campaign in [month] and think your audience is exactly right. Are you open to paid collaborations, and could you share your rates and recent Insights?
Naming one specific post is what separates you from the fifty generic pitches in their inbox that week.
When to skip all of this: if you need one campaign, once, and you have no time — a good agency has already done the vetting and will know within a day which five creators fit. If you plan to run creator campaigns continuously, learn to do it yourself; the skill compounds.
We run influencer campaigns for Bengaluru brands — finding the right creators, briefing them properly, and keeping the disclosure clean.
